This historical play is brought to life by members of the Freedom Center's Youth Docent program and tells the remarkable story of Freedom Summer -- highlighting those individuals who risked their lives to register people to vote in Mississippi during the summer of 1964. The play was created in partnership with Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
In honor of the International Freedom Conductor Award and the 10th anniversary, the Freedom Center showcased exhibitions and flms highlighting this year's honorees, including a special screening of Walesa: Man of Hope.

Special Museum Tours of the Nelson Mandela Exhibit with photojournalist Matthew Willman

Photojournalist Matthew Willman will lead special tours of the Nelson Mandela Exhibit from noon to 3 p.m. Tour groups will meet in the lobby of the Freedom Center. Tours will be limited to the first 10 people that sign-up at the guest services kiosk, located in the lobby.
