The National Underground Railroad Freedom Center (@FreedomCenter) launches a New Modbile App Tour. Visitors can share moments and pictures from their mobile app tour experience via Twitter and Instagram, @FreedomCenter.
In honor of the International Freedom Conductor Award and the 10th anniversary, the Freedom Center showcased exhibitions and flms highlighting this year's honorees, including a special screening of Walesa: Man of Hope.

On August 21, 1955, 14-year old Emmett Till traveled from his hometown of Chicago to visit his cousins in Money, Mississippi. On August 31, his mutilated corpse was pulled from the Tallahatchie River.
