The National Underground Railroad opens to the public at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 16, with free admission to the permanent and temporary exhibitions and family programming.
A limited number of $5.00 timed-tickets will be available for purchase on a first-come, first-serve basis for The Rosa Parks Experience.*
Activities and programs are scheduled throughout the day and include:
- Family-friendly, hands on activities
- Admission to permanent and temporary exhibitions

PLEASE NOTE: We recommend leaving backpacks, large bags and large umbrellas in your car or at your hotel. To ensure the safety of the collection, the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center does not permit visitors to carry bags on their backs in the exhibits.
*The Rosa Parks Experience will not be available from 2-3:00 p.m.
