Born in Heiberger, Alabama, Coretta Scott King overcame childhood adversity in the segregated south and attended Antioch College in Yellow Springs, Ohio. A talented singer, she would go on to play an integral role in the American Civil Rights movement, not only as the wife of Dr. Martin Luther King, but as an independent woman. The woman behind the man, Coretta continues to be an inspiration to the nation and the world.
In collaboration with The Children's Theatre of Cincinnati's ArtReach program, join us for an inspiring play for all ages about an iconic woman of courage. Call (513) 333-7737 to purchase tickets in advance.
