National Underground Railroad Freedom Center
AARP Members are invited to take part in Freedom Rings & Family Circles – a unique AARP member event — on Saturday, May 14, at the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center in Cincinnati.
Registered AARP members and their guests will receive free admission to the Freedom Center to see The Emancipation Proclamation, The Thirteen Amendment, the critically acclaimed feature film Lincoln, and receive informational resources to assist Family Caregivers in helping their loved ones in their homes.
Beginning at 11 a.m., AARP volunteers will offer free Family Caregiving resources and gifts outside the Harriet Tubman Theatre, where Lincoln, which plays for two and a half hours, will be shown at 1 p.m. Visitors can view exhibits before or after the movie until the Freedom Center closes at 5 p.m. Last entrance for admission is 4 p.m. The National Underground Railroad Freedom Center is located at 50 E Freedom Way, Cincinnati, Ohio 45202.
