Links, Inc. Youth Docents
The Freedom Center and the Cincinnati Chapter of the Links, Inc. are excited to present the Links, Inc. Youth Docent program. This program is designed to expose local high school students to the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center. Local high schools students take an 18 month journey that combines themes of cooperation, courage, perseverance and freedom to aid in developing leadership, presentation, communication and critical thinking skills.
Benefits of participating include:
- 20 weeks of professional docent training program
- A six-month paid internship
- Rare insight into the museum profession, its audiences, and strategies
- Opportunities to create strong links between past freedom struggles and current events around the globe
New classes begin each February. We look forward to seeing your application for our next class.
