Mr. Westmoreland and guest Syl Flores will discuss his efforts to assist impoverished people of all races in Mexico and the United States to become self-sufficient.  A professor at NKY, Mr. Flores has worked in the mountains of Mexico, in the streets of Dallas, Texas, and in the fields of Mason County Kentucky with local community leaders in grass roots efforts to fight poverty.

Future Without Poverty: Breaking the Myth of No Effect is an international conference that will include participants from Canada, Mexico, and the United States with a focus on finding solutions to improve the quality of life in our impoverished communities.  You can learn more about the conference from NKU Connect or from Linked In.  You can learn about the international efforts at www.futurewithoutpoverty.org.

    Mr. Westmoreland,
    This show was very interesting! I certainly hope that Freedom Radio continues. This will be a severe loss to the intellectual community if it doesn’t.I’m not aware of anything like it available. The ‘powers that be” should be aware of this wonderful vehicle that helps to make the Freedom Center unique. Keep up the excellent work under what I’m sure have been difficult circumstances.
