African American Cemetery Records
Thank you to Deanna Ralph for sharing her cemetery records of the Alum Creek Quaker Cemetery in Marengo, Ohio, Morrow County. The community of Quakers in Marengo were very active in the Underground Railroad. There are several of the fugitive slaves are buried in this cemetery. If this fits into your search, we can get you in touch with Deanna.

@ Jazmin, Don’t be upset if you find that your ancesters, never left the shores of “North America” 95% of us were here Long before the Europeans landed on our shores. And I’m Talking about thousand of years before ie: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DDvmWXoHZwI&feature=player_embedded
The truth is now starting to come out about our history, The fact is the slave trade was from these shores to other parts of the world and europe, many of our ancesters here, Whole tribes were anialted, those that remain were forced into servitude, denied of our religion, culture , creed, language, foods, clothes, and memory. Just something to get you to thinking/looking in the right direction. I traced my moms line back to a slave plantation in N.C. That was easy all I had to do was trace the Slavemasters tag ( Surename, Last Name ) The Generals of the wars against our people receved teh largest plantatins, most of your counties are named after these Generals. now how do we find out the original/aboriginal/indigionous names of our ancesters? I was told to look in the Moor-man Church. They kept the records. U can read the Book ‘ “Black Indian” to give you Great info on this subject. This is North west africa, If you remove all the water and push it(continents) all together like a puzzle. We were here before the great earthquake. Peace Be Upon You
