Time seemed to stand still while we toured. Perhaps that is due to the subject matter. The way the event is staged is crticial in my opinion in pointing out that while lynching may be all but extinct, but hate crimes still exist and take place. Hopefully the emotions generated by this exhibit of our past will help us stay vigilant against the hate crimes taking place in the present.
