I have been searching for John Collings who maried Anne Hampson of Radcliffe at Manchester Cathedral Dec 14, 1821, England
He settled in Rdcliffe and died and was buried Dec. 27th, 1835 at the age of 35 at St. Thomas Church, Radcliffe That would make him born in 1800. Family thinks he might be from Oldham, Middleton, Brindley. any help would be appreciated. Settlement papers were sent in 1836 but the family didn’t go. Thanks

Margie – Some of the information looks right. My grandfathers DOB was either 1894-1895 but the DOD is correct 4/21/73. My other concern is that his middle name may have been Marvin not Martin, but in the past a typo my have been done. I alway’s thought that my grandfather said that his sisters had been younger then him. He had alway’s said neither of them ever married. At his funeral in 1973 they both came to Tampa FL from AL.. last time I seen them I was 17. I believe at that time they lived in Mobile AL. Anyway to check to see if this info is the same if his middle name was Marvin also I just was looking, could Isella be the same as IZ Blanton or Izella Blanton, both have spouse of Richard Blanton or RD Blanton. Maybe these are the same people. I know you mentioned (badly written and poorly interpreted).

In your years of research what do you think?
