Faith to Freedom Daily: Mother Africa Union Protestant Church, Wilmington, DE

Founded in 1813, the Mother African Union Protestant Church served as a major Underground Railroad station under the able leadership of Reverend Peter Spencer.  The church still stands on French Street, between Eighth and Ninth Streets in Wilmington.  Reverend Spencer is buried nearby.
