Faith to Freedom Daily: Hampshire Colony Congregational Church – Princeton, IL

Rev. Lovejoy started Hampshire Colony Congregational Church shortly after he arrived in Princeton, IL. A staunch abolitionist, Rev. Lovejoy also served four terms in the U.S. House of Representatives where he defended emancipation in the face of stiff proslavery forces.
