About the North Star Café

The Freedom Center's North Star Café, located on the ground floor, offers an appealing menu of lunch time favorites. North Star's Daily Lunch Special offers one of the best meal deals in the downtown area: a fully cooked entree, with a side item and a 12-ounce soft drink, for only $5.00 plus tax. "Grab 'N Go" snack items, including fresh fruit, soft drinks, bottled water, coffee and hot cocoa are also available. The North Star Cafe is open to the public without admission cost to the Freedom Center. Stop by the North Star Cafe during your visit or when passing by the Freedom Center!

  • The North Star Cafe Grill: 11 a.m.-3 p.m., Tuesday through Sunday
  • Grab 'N Go, 10:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., Tuesday through Sunday

  • Monday- Closed
  • Tuesday- Southern Fried Chicken, Green Bean Casserole and Mac & Cheese
  • Wednesday- Soup and 1/2 Sandwich
  • Thursday- Beef Tips and Rice
  • Friday- Chef Special
  • Saturday- Spaghetti and Meat Balls
  • Sunday- Grilled Ham & Cheese Sandwich with Fries
